A research team from the Department has been commissioned to review how aspiring principals are prepared for the role, tracking a cohort of 60 middle leaders through certification and into their first year of headship.
A teaching team from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction has been recognised in the Faculty teaching awards for its redesign of a core methods course.
The Department's school-based guidance programme has been recognised by the Faculty for the way it supports beginning counsellors during their first year in schools.
A team from the Department of Early Childhood Education has been recognised in this year's Faculty teaching awards for its work on early literacy and numeracy in the undergraduate programme.
